Moscheen in Deutschland und Österreich. Grundrecht oder Provokation?

Résumé

This bachelor thesis presents the similar dynamics regarding the conflicts encircling mosques in Germany and Austria. As the political and societal conditions are too much alike in both countries to divide the conflicts nationally, their main differences have been either of a regional nature or rooted in specific developments of a community. The binding element of both German and Austrian conflicts regarding mosques has been the media’s strong influence, which has, through virulent reporting been the cause of many conflicts in the first place.
